Lift heavy.
Eat well.
Go somewhere.
I'm Ron. Most of my week is spent under a barbell, in the kitchen weighing out food, on a plane or a trail somewhere, and at a keyboard trying to make machines behave.

What I actually spend time on
Four things, roughly in that order, depending on the day.
-
Under the bar
Weightlifting and bodybuilding. Squats, pulls, presses, repeat. The gym is the one place where the only thing that matters is whether the bar moved. Chasing numbers, staying patient, showing up on the days I don't feel like it.
Training -
In the kitchen
Nutrition as a tool, not a religion. Enough protein, real food, portions I can eyeball without weighing everything forever. What I eat exists to support the training, keep energy steady, and still taste like something worth eating.
Fuel -
On the road
New cities, new food, new reasons to walk further than planned. I'd rather take the long route, find the place locals actually eat at, and come home with a few stories instead of a suitcase full of souvenirs.
Miles -
Behind the keyboard
Scripts, APIs, containers, networks, the occasional three-hour rabbit hole that ends with one line fixed. I like pulling things apart to see how they work, then putting them back together in a way that fits how I think.
Technology
Some days it's a personal record. Some days it's just showing up. Both of them count.Ron Raymond
